Mathilde Tijen Hansen was born in Cologne and grew up in Berlin, where she lives and works. She studied with Ludwig Rauch at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie and graduated in 2024. Her work explores the urban space and how political power and social change inscribe themselves into the city’s fabric and its perception.
